God comes first,...Aunt Patsy taught be that lesson. God comes first, husband comes second, children come third. It was always hard for me to put our children after Allen but I've seen some couples that I thought were happy divorce as soon as their children were out of the house because they had grown apart. They put all of their time and energy into their children and left none for themselves. I'll admit, I've been guilty of not putting the time and energy into my marriage but somehow it survived. I love having the house to ourselves. We've never really had the house to ourselves. We had 10 months to ourselves, the next 25 years we had kids. <br /><br />Hope you and Jim enjoy this chapter of your lives. <br /><br />P.S. don't feel guilty about enjoying this time by yourselves. <br /><br />RitaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
