That is a "cole crop", meaning that it needs cold not hot weather. You should plant it the last of July or the first of August for your fall garden, or Feb for your spring garden. Congratulations on the garden, that is a LOT more than I have done this year. It seems that I am always in someone else's garden and not mine.
