Help! I Don't Know What It Is, But I Like It!

Last week as I was picking up Drive-Thru at Taco Cabana, I saw this and it was beautiful! It is on a bush that I believe is some sort of shrub. The flowers are so bright and inviting that I really think I NEED them for my yard...but I have no idea what it is.

Anyone out there have any idea what this plant is named? Will it grow in a semi (mostly) neglected yard?

The Birthday Boys Of Summer

I told you about the birthday party a few weeks ago...but I am just now posting the pictures.
Matt's birthday was on the 10th...and I still owe him a carrot cake! Here he is with his #1 fan clapping her hands as she sings Happy Birthday.
And here is Derrick and family a few days before his birthday, which was on the 15th. (The picture of him with his cake wasn't very flattering, so I decided to be nice and use a good one instead.)

Happy Birthday to the two best sons-in-law we have! Ha!
