On Sunday morning we were greeted with a sound that was uncommon yet very familiar. One of my favorite sounds on earth...rain softly falling on the roof. There was no thunder and lightening show this time. Just a slow and steady rain that lasted throughout most of the day.

There was not just a few puddles on the sides of the road, but the ditches were filling with the bounty of the clouds overhead. The new pond is actually finally seeing some water! Jim says we are about a third of the way to full. The grand kids can hardly wait for it to have enough water for fishing!

Thank you, Lord, for the showers of blessing!
Are there any among the idols of the nations who give rain?
Or can the heavens grant showers?

Yes the rain was great here:-) that will be so nice for the kids when they can go fishing in the pond.
I do like the corner store...I have tried posting but had internet trouble
