We rented a lake house with this amazing view from the back windows.Needless to say, we spent a lot of time over the next 6 days in that pool.
Kicking back, relaxing.
(Maddux learning how to swim with his floaties.)
Enjoying the cool water during the heat of the day and the late evening.
Just spending time together as a family.
Since the pool had a diving board, and since boys will be boys...lots of time was spent trying to out do one another.
Will had the showiest dive. Double thumbs up.
Brian, doing his Superman imitation, had the smallest splash of the day.
Jim had the best jackknife.
But Davin recieved the "first dive of my life" award. See how excited he is?
No fear, that one!
At the end of the day, everyone was exhausted.
As is always the case, too much of a good thing leads to...
sunburn! Ouch!
You will not find Brooke in any of the pool pictures. She takes after her Nonna in that she does NOT like water that is over her head. We coaxed her in as far as the steps a few times, but she preferred to serve everyone drinks and fruit poolside rather than actually get in the pool!
Come back tomorrow for another installment of "What We Did On Our Summer Vacation".
I know you are on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what comes next.
Hint: It has to do with water.

looks like fun...can't wait to see and hear more
Ouch Bri. That looks painful. As someone with skin so white you can see by blue veins, I do feel for you. I can't stay outside in the sun for very long. I can only go out very early in the morning and late in the afternoon. No mid day sun for me or else no clothes or sheets can touch me for at least 2 days. Looks like y'all had fun though.
