"...(Moses) called God both "a consuming fire" and "a merciful God". How could both of these things be true?...When God's people turned against Him and His commands, His anger and judgment were fierce. But when His people recognized the errors of their ways, repented, and returned to God in sincerity and submission, His grace and forgiveness knew no limits."

Thank you for sharing this...
I am so glad that He is a merciful God. Yes, thank you for sharing this.
I haven't been trying to catch up on reading blogs that I follow today. Looks like you've been very busy!
I'm often confused by reading the Bible. There are quite a lot of things that seem to be conflicting until someone explains it to me. I think that is why non believers think that the Bible is just a book and not God's word. You can't just read the Bible you have to study everything associated with it. Like cultures and history of the time it was written, philosophy, and what theologians think.
I do love to read your ponderings. Thanks for sharing.
