Big Boots To Fill

Last week, when Kelli and the kids stayed overnight with us, we walked in from watering the cows to find Maddux looking like this...
He had on his Pappaw's boots and was trying his best to walk around in them.

(There is a spiritual metaphor in there about trying to walk in someone else's God-given path instead of our own, I'm sure!)

On another visit, the weekend before, this was the scene in the living room floor...

I have adorable pictures from our Family Crawfish-Turned-Shrimp Boil that I want to share, but until my eldest son finishes his college photography class and returns my good camera, they will have to wait.
