Friday morning I received a surprise Proflowers package at work. I just knew they were from my dear husband who was preparing to head out of town for a week long turkey hunting trip...but when I opened the box and pulled out the card I nearly cried.
My cousin and her family sent me a bouquet of gerbera daisies after reading my blog a few nights before. They knew I had been having a tough time and just wanted me to know that they loved me and missed me!
I am so humbled...and so honored by their thoughtfulness!
It is so nice to be reminded that it is not just those we see every day who genuinely care about and love us!
Barbara Bush is credited with saying, "To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there."
I am glad that our arms are not limited by the 1200 miles that separate us!

Those flowers are beautiful. Spring flowers are my favorite. They are much more beautiful to me than roses.
